Switch seized up after about 10 days. Checked with coffee addicts and they don’t warranty electrical components even for mechanical failure. They did mention they have a rather checkered success rate with these with a noteworthy percent that fail soon after installation. Soooo, took the switch apart (just pry it open, but I don’t recommend anyone doing this) and got everything put back in place inside (little internal leaf type connectors had come out of their tracks inside the switch) and it is working again (for now). Definitely not original quality as the original lasted 8 years of regular use. Ordered another toggle switch from a different supplier for when this one’s internal components inevitably fall apart again. Hopefully it lasts till the other arrives. Be aware it’s a bit of a crap shoot that you may get a dud and…. no returns.
