Mini water softener, accepts 4 mm I.D. tube. 157 mm long. Rancilio replaced the old white #69000140 with the new DVG filter version "ETO" #69000313 ~ 02/01/2017.

 

Instructions for use:

  1. Soak the fully submerged softener for 5 minutes
  2. Rinse the softener
  3. Reconnect the softener to the unit, keeping it fully submerged

Water softener for Rancilio

I have been using an internal water softener in my Silvia for years and this one is a touch larger than the last few I’ve used. Not an issue, as it works just fine. Always a good idea to have the extra level of protection for the machine and this one works well! This appears to be a replacement rishon with no issues.
