This aftermarket Rancilio bottomless or naked portafilter will fit Rancilio machines (6.2mm fins). This portafilter will also fit most ECM Manufacture, Expobar, Lelit, Profitec, Promac, Royale, San Remo and Vibiemme machines.  Make sure that you measure the fins on your current portafilter to confirm fit.

Taste the difference a portafilter can make. The Barista can watch the coffee brew right from the bottom of the filter basket and immediately know if channeling occurs, signaling that a level tamp was not made, which makes this an invaluable tool for training.  Most Bottomless portafilters will accept 21 gram triple baskets since portafilter body depth is no longer an issue. This item comes standard with a 58mm 21 gram triple basket, but will also accept any other "standard" sized portafilter basket.  Don't like the hole at the end of the standard handle?  Add a chrome cap to complete the look of this portafilter.

Part of my quest to the perfect dosage...

Recently my venerable ECM Giotto Premium has lost its luster with poor dribble-like pours. Changed the pump, no difference. Cleaned the OPV and calibrated it, no difference. Disassembled and cleaned the entire E61 brew head, no difference. Finally decided to buy a bottomless portafilter and and head brew gauge from Coffee Addicts. The brew gauge confirmed that I do, in fact, have exactly the right pressure. The new portafilter showed excessive splatter... So my attention is now the burr grinder and the coffee grains. I had thoroughly cleaned the grinder recently and I also had changed coffee brands. One of these must be my culprit. Finally changed the grind with the new coffee brand and now I have near perfect pours, all easily visible with the bottomless portafilter.

Great product! Fits Profitec Go perfectly!

Overall great product, nice weight and quality. I bought the extra plug for the handle to complete the look. Nice heavy weight...have used it quite a bit to fine tune the different roast, works well. The included baskets are nice as well. Purchased an IMS basket - seems better, but not that much difference.

Quality product all around and very happy with the purchase. Fits Profitec Go perfectly as well and complements the included portafilter with spouts.
