This is one of those purchases I should have made ages ago. This tamping stand is sturdy and practical, especially for storing baskets, leveler, tamper and dosing ring. It keeps everything together and well-organized. It's surprisingly strong, and supports my Rancilio portafilter perfectly. If you've been thinking about getting one, don't wait as long as I did. This stand helps keep the coffee prepartion area clean. Very pleased with it and it is a great addition to my original ECM Giotto machine.
