Take your coffee game to the next level with this high quality filter basket.  The electro polished finished combined with an engineered perforation pattern ensure the best and most consistent coffee extraction.  The shape was designed by IMS to optimize the ratio between base and height of the coffee puck as well as facilitate drying and expulsion.

This is not a 7 to 9 grams basket. It is big

Works like it should, larger than expected

The basket itself works as expected and produces good espresso. Note it is about 15-20% larger than the stock Breville single shot basket. I have the IMS 14-18g basket and my hope was to be able to use the same grind setting for an 18g shot and 9g shot. After dialing in for my usual 18g basket, a 9g shot pulled way too fast. I had to go up to almost 12g to get a similar timing. On the positive side, if you want single shots closer to 12g this basket will do it for you. Or if you like really dark roasts, you can fit more than the 7 or 8g that would fit in the stock Breville and still have some headroom.

IMPRESSIVE !!!

IMS porta filters are top quality, I also bought the IMS shower screen along with 2 baskets, one single dose and one double dose, and we immediately noticed a change in taste with my Breville Express machine we've been using for the last 3 years. Expensive yes, but totally worth it so far. Our coffee never tasted that good and I saw similar reviews before purchasing and thought that it might have been exagerated but no, I can assure you I would not go back to the OEM Breville filter and shower. I would have purchased these earlier if I knew their existence. Totally recommended. Merci Coffee Addict :)
