Suitable for pre-millennium machines with 49mm tampers.

IMS basket

I must say that the IMS competition basket is useful when you wish for an even pull. On a lever machine, it improves the results when the technique is already acceptable and the coffee grain quality is there. It does NOT help to make a better cup of coffee with old poor coffee or improvised pulling. Quality, grind size, ratio and time need to be balanced first. Then the IMS basket can perform its magic and transform you into the best barista you can be... with a sense of humour!
