Precision is right, though I don't have the palate to taste the difference, I can see the uniformity in my shots as well as in the manufacture over cheaper alternatives.

Slightly more uniform extraction across the puck

This basket provides rounder, more uniform holes and less burrs than the stock basket -- in my case, especially around the edges. It is very slightly (0.2mm) shorter. Because the basket resistance will likely be less, you will probably have to grind a little finer. I found that, with careful grinds distribution, the effect was visible with a bottomless portafilter. It is a little pricy, though and only fits La Pavoni models made after 2000.

Works with Breville “Café Roma”

I replaced the pressurized filter with this one. It is a bit tight but it works. I have not seen any difference.
