Standard on the new Gaggia Pro, this is a stainless steel version of the shower holder diffuser for Gaggia espresso machines.  This is a direct replacement to the aluminum one found in the Gaggia Classic and Baby machines.  It has greater resistance to corrosion combined with double the thermal mass which helps maintain heat while brewing.

A great upgrade!

I purchased this to replace my old alloy version. I am overall very pleased. It’s a well machine piece of kit, and installation was a breeze. Retains heat very well! Great for non PID users.

Had reservations but works perfectly and is an upgrade

I have a current model of Gaggia Classic Pro, but it came with an aluminum shower holder diffuser, which has rusted. When this replacement arrived, I had some reservations that it was a Gaggia branded part - there is no indication on packaging or on the hardware itself, that it is. Honestly, I still don't know, but it does fit perfectly, and is an upgrade over the aluminum original in terms of heat retention. It works exactly as it should, and I feel that it may even distribute the water a little better than the original (could be imagining that). I'm happy with this replacement.
