This aftermarket Gaggia bottomless or naked portafilter features a wood handle and will fit most Gaggia machines including: Classic, Coffee, Baby, Baby Twin, Paros, Tebe, Evolution, Espresso, Cubika, Topazio, Espresso Dose, Espresso Pure, Espresso Color (6.6mm fins).

Taste the difference a portafilter can make. The Barista can watch the coffee brew right from the bottom of the filter basket and immediately know if channeling occurs, signaling that a level tamp was not made, which makes this an invaluable tool for training.  Most Bottomless Portafilters will accept 21 gram triple baskets since portafilter body depth is no longer an issue. This item comes standard with a 58mm 19 gram triple basket, but will also accept any other "standard" sized portafilter basket.

This is a must-have for anyone who wants to ensure that the coffee puck is perfectly distributed and tamped evenly. It also helps with the short room height of the Gaggia Classic. The wood and metal finish are nice, and it shines on my machine. Thanks for the fast and smooth delivery.

I bought this to replace the stock portafilter than came with my Gaggia Classic Pro. It is very well made and beautiful to look at and gives the Gaggia a morte elegant appearance on your kitchen counter. I paired this with an 18 g VST basket, and this combination is a tight fit in the Gaggia, and the handle does not turn all the way perpendicular. However, there no problem when pulling shots. Just display this handle without the basket in place when not in use (good practice anyway as you want your basket dry and clean).
