Espazzola 56-58mm Group Head (2+3-58)

$35.00

The Espazzola is a professional tool for cleaning the group-head of espresso machines. It is mounted into the group-head like a portafilter and uses the hot water from the machine for a thorough and comprehensive removal of the coffee residues from all surfaces. Instead of brushing the group-head by hand, the machine cleans itself almost automatically. Fast, easy and safe!

This new version of the Espazzola now features:

  • New stainless steel clips instead of plastic tabs are more wear resistant and will work with a wide range of portafilters.
  • Deeper pockets in the Espazzola cup provide more grip for the silicone membrane.
  • New membrane design adapts to shower screens better and last longer.
  • New water guiding system to reduce splashing when cleaning your group head.
For group-heads compatible with a tamper diameter of 56 - 58 mm, two cams on the portafilter and an outer diameter of the portafilter of 69 mm or more.

It will fit most machines from: Astoria, Bezzera, Cimbali, Faema, ECM, Marzocco, Profitec, Rancilio, Rocket, Simonelli, Slayer, Wega and may others.
See below for machines that it will NOT fit.

Cleaning head group doesn’t need to be messy

Cleaning the heat group with a brush has always been messy, so much I hated it.

The Espazzola fixes everything to make this task enjoyable 🧘 Yes expensive, there’s no price to achieve happiness :)

Great tool

I had the curved brush tool before that constantly fell apart and threw grinds all over the place. This tool keeps everything within the tool and machines tray and does the job very well. I agree with another review that it was a little flimsy when putting it up into the port but can’t complain about it as it does end result met my expectations and I can still work with it. Gets dirty quick but add some cafiza to it and it’s good and clean again.
Great tool that works well enough that I don’t mind the $50 price.

Nice product.

Because it can work with a variety of different machines, it requires some assembly. Don't do what I did and try to assemble it late at night when you're super tired, it was pretty confusing, but once you get it if you need to ever change the orientation of it, or replace the silicon brush part, it shouldn't be too hard.

Design is pretty smart and it seems to work well, better than the Cafelat brush for getting right in all the crevices as well as getting the grouphead clean.

Using a Puck Screen does reduce the need for something like this! Keeps everything pretty clean, some coffee particles and oils will still get up there though, backflushing with some detergent is still needed occasionally.
