The new Comandante X25 TRAILMASTER is a sturdy, robust and lightweight coffee grinder engineered for adventure. It is equipped with the state-of-the art Nitro Blade burr for familiar world class grind performance in this extraordinary new body.

The polygonal body is painstakingly molded into a stable single piece using cutting
edge techniques. Selecting the best material for an outdoor grinder body is mission critical. After comprehensive research in the Comandante lab and after conducting extensive field tests, engineers selected a special reinforced techno-polymer as the material of choice for the new X-Series outdoor products — QTP. QTP is a high performance techno-polymer with a substantial amount of quartz reinforcement particles, interwoven into an elastic and strong long-chain polymer matrix. It feels like ceramic and performs like a technical super composite. QTP is safe in contact with food and water, and is a trademark of Comandante.

Comandante refined the geometry and structure of the Nitro Blade burr to get the grind performance and particle distribution they were looking for with this Comandante grinder, which worked best with brewing fresh ground specialty arabica beans.

Manufacturing a Nitro Blade is a serious engineering task which requires special tools and machinery, excellent craftsmanship and lots of experience. High-nitrogen martensitic steel is extremely difficult to work with. But when finished, it is tough, highly wear resistant and has a high degree of edge retention. 

With a perfect balance of aesthetic and engineering, the Comandante X25 Trailmaster is  in league of its own when it comes to hand grinders. Consider picking up a burr oil care kit for better maintenance of this grinder.
