The Coffee Sensor tamper is made of 100% steel for those who prefer to work with a heavy tamper.  Precisely manufacturer to ensure a tight fit in the basket in order to get maximum coverage when tamping and improve extractions by reducing channeling.  We recommend pairing the tamper with a precision basket such as IMS or VST.

Nice and weighty, makes for a nice solid tamp! It's not a calibrated tamper or anything fancy but if you have a steady hand - and of course the weight helps a lot - you'll get a great tamp with this. As a bonus it looks fantastic in my opinion!

The only knock against it is that it's made so close to the 58mm basket size it can act as a bit of a vacuum, so care is needed when pulling it out. I had it suck my puck up with it once so I learned quickly! Your experience may vary there. Overall a really nice piece.
