You've done your research, and finally picked up your dream machine! But the shots may not be pulling out picture perfect like you expected. We get it: it took us a few uses to get the hang of every machine here too! You get to learn from our mistakes!

What does this class entail? Here are a few features:

  • We'll walk you through dialing in your espresso, and share tips and tricks that may be important to your machine

  • Latte art? We’ll do our best.. We'll cover the basics of getting your milk to the right texture during this session

  • Cleaning is covered too! We will share our best home care tips to ensure your machine will last for years to come. 

  • We're flexible! Have a specific need? We'll do our best to help you out with any issue you may be having. 

  • We're also gifting you a FREE bag of coffee (so you don't have to waste any of your own collection dialing in for your machine!)

We do have a couple requirements, however:

  • We can only offer these classes for machines we carry! You won't be able to bring in your Delonghi or Jura, sorry. 

  • We will also try to use the same grinder as the one you have! But again, it’s as long as we carry it in store.

  • You can still take a class on a different machine/grinder, the basics are essentially the same, they just may not translate exactly 1:1 to your machine and grinder at home.

Would you like a friend or family member to join you for this class? No problem! Just select the "Bring a plus one" option when you schedule your time. They can tag a long for only an extra $25. 

For bookings for 3+, it gets a little more involved! Check out our Let’s Explore Coffee Together class for groups of 3-6.

Amazing Barista Class with Emily at Coffeeaddicts!

Emily is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about coffee, making the entire experience not only informative but also so much fun. She explained every step of the brewing process with such clarity and enthusiasm, and I walked away feeling confident in my newfound barista skills.

Learned a great deal about espresso tasting and making adjustments to better dial in

I had a one on one class with Emily that was geared to what I wanted to learn. She will cater it to your specific needs. A totally worthwhile adventure. Emily was super friendly and easy to work with and professional in how she taught me about tasting the basic characteristics of espresso shots, how to recognize bitterness, acidity, sourness. And how to make changes to grind or the extraction process to get the most out of the coffee beans. Its such a small investment for a high reward.

Absolutely a worthwhile endeavor

Had a class with Emily yesterday. Great teacher - class was oriented to my needs and the techniques were clearly explained and demonstrated on the same equipment that I use at home. I would absolutely recommend taking a class, if you’re interested in upping your espresso game.

Staff were friendly and professional. I enjoyed my class and picked up a few tips. If you love coffee its a nice way to spend an hour that is essentially free.
