These portafilters have minor cosmetic damage like scratches, dents and small cracks on the wood handle. They are brand new and damage does not impact functionality.

 

This aftermarket Breville bottomless or naked portafilter will fit Breville Barista (Touch, Pro, Express), Bambino Plus, Infuser and Duo Temp machines.

Taste the difference a portafilter can make. The Barista can watch the coffee brew right from the bottom of the filter basket and immediately know if channeling occurs, signaling that a level tamp was not made, which makes this an invaluable tool for training.  This item comes standard with a 18 gram basket, but will also accept other Breville portafilter basket.

Near perfect condition

This portafilter is a killer deal. The small dent at the end of the handle is barely visible and it fits perfectly on our Breville Bambino. I haven't had any issue with the handle loosening yet. I did not use the 18g gram basket that comes with it since I had a IMS Precision 14-18g already. This combination is an awesome upgrade over the OEM portafilter that comes with the machine.

Scratch & Dent is a False Claim. It’s near PERFECT condition.

I received this bottomless portafilter thinking it would have a noticeable scratch but this was not the case for me. The one I received came what I would claim to be in 99% near perfect condition. I did notice the “scratch” but it measures about half a millimetre on the wood. Unnoticeable from looking at it from a 2ft distance. Great purchase IMO.

PS: for future buyers - note: it came with a 18g - 20g IMS precision basket. It is such a great combo if you’re looking for one of these.

A great upgrade from the stock Breville Bambino portafilter

Who cares about the scratch and dents? Gives it character. I upgraded to this from the pressurized stock Breville Bambino portafilter and I love this one. It feels very premium. So satisfying to watch espresso form and trickle from the bottom. My espresso looks and tastes so much better. The basket in this is pretty huge though. I don't use it.
